Like many photographers, we worked our way up to the $5K market and found ourselves stuck there for years. It was not until we shifted our focus to intentional portfolio curation and building meaningful relationships with planners that our business began to change.

That shift led to consistent, higher-end bookings and a more stable referral base. Today, we teach photographers how to reposition themselves so they can step into a higher market with a clear and repeatable approach.

Our pricing journey over the years

We were charging $3800-$4400 and started to make connections with planners more intentionally.

This was under our old name "Emily Hancock Photography". We were charging $2k- $2750

We moved our pricing pdf to be on our website charging $4800- $5600

Tried to charge $7k- $8k with the same marketing strategy but could only book at the $5k-$6k range.

Moved our pricing back to a PDF form and offered custom pricing ranging $12k- $16k

Changed our name to "The Hancocks" and charged $7800-$9800 but remained flexible on pricing to book things to pay our bills.

Our newest pricing guide appeals to the entry to luxury market and is fully custom proposal each time with prices starting at $14k.
